On a corner in North Melbourne is a little cakeshop called Beatrix. More than just a bakery, Beatrix is a shining beacon of cake and love and is thought of very fondly by locals (especially as they munch on a monster slice of red velvet).
As former North Melbourne locals themselves, Goldie & Bee have spent many an afternoon walking to this corner store and leaving with a box full of treats for afternoon tea.
To commemorate the happiness we feel when we think of Beatrix, this little shop just had to be drawn. We hope it brings you a little slice of happiness, too.
